June 14th Marks World Blood Donor Day

Did you know that the Irish Blood Transfusion Service needs 500 donations every day in Ireland? This morning, FlexManager wants to raise awareness of World Blood Donor Day, which falls tomorrow, Saturday, June 14th.

Every year, the World Health Organisation celebrates this day to thank blood donors. These donations are pivotal to thousands of patients.

Across Ireland, iconic buildings are ‘lighting up’ red this Saturday to show their appreciation for you, our generous blood donors.

    • National Concert Hall

    • Kilkenny Castle

    • Rock of Cashel and many more…

If you are considering donating blood, you can find your nearest clinic through the IBTS website
