HSA hosting 2 Seminars on Preventing Common Workplace Injuries in Small Businesses
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) will be hosting 2 free seminars on Preventing Common Workplace Injuries in Small Businesses in Dublin and Cork next week (Cork on Wednesday, March 18th (9am-1pm at Fota Hotel, Cork) ; Dublin on Thursday, March 19th (9:30am-1pm at Carlton Hotel, Blanchardstown).
HSA inspectors will break down the everyday workplace hazards that most commonly lead to injuries, including:
- Manual handling
- Slips, trips and falls
- Work at height
- Vehicle operations
- Work equipment and machinery
- Fire and chemical risks
- LPG and gas safety
- Plus other hidden day‑to‑day dangers
