New FlexManager Kiosks Bring Compliance to the Point of Work

FlexManager has introduced FlexManager Kiosks, a new on-site access point that brings its compliance platform directly to the point of work. The kiosks are designed to close a long-standing gap between the systems used by management teams and the people who carry out everyday tasks on site. They give employees, visitors and contractors a simple way to complete required actions the moment they arrive.

As organisations have moved Health & Safety and compliance away from paperwork and spreadsheets, centralised platforms have given management teams far greater visibility across their operations. However, many essential activities still happen at the site entrance rather than at a desk. Employees need to clock in, visitors need to register, contractors need to complete inductions, and teams need to confirm location-based training requirements before work begins. Each task is straightforward on its own, but across multiple sites and hundreds of people, they create a steady stream of admin, follow-ups and records that are rarely fully up to date.

The challenge is greatest for people without their own access to the system. Employees may carry company devices, but visitors, contractors and temporary workers usually do not. As a result, their information is often captured by someone else, frequently on paper and frequently later, which is where gaps in compliance records tend to begin. FlexManager Kiosks address this by providing a shared access point on site that requires no personal device or login.

At the kiosk, employees, visitors and contractors can complete the most common on-site tasks in a few steps, without help from site staff. People can:

  • Clock in and out, so arrivals and departures are recorded as they happen
  • Confirm location-based training requirements before starting work
  • Check in with a QR code when their visit is scheduled
  • Register on the spot when they arrive without a booking
  • Complete required inductions before stepping on site

Every action is recorded directly in FlexManager, so there’s no need for re-keying, chasing paperwork or reconciling separate records. At launch, the kiosk connects with FlexManager modules covering attendance, training, visitors and contractors, and it will support more features as the platform continues to evolve.

Capturing information at the point of activity means records are accurate from the start. Site teams spend less time transferring data, and managers gain a clear view of who is on site, who is trained and who has been inducted across every location, without waiting for records to catch up. The kiosks are particularly well suited to construction, manufacturing, logistics and other operational environments where site access needs to be fast, simple and consistent.

Watch: How FlexManager Kiosks Work on Site

FlexManager Kiosks complement the desktop and mobile access already at the heart of the platform, adding a third touchpoint designed specifically for people arriving on site. Everything recorded at the kiosk sits within one unified platform, making data and records available from the site entrance to the boardroom.
