Expoprotection 2026: Three trends we expect to see

High-vis worker looking at data & trends

Expoprotection will take place from November 3rd to November 5th, an exhibition for risk prevention and management, two areas FlexManager are clearly invested in. Taking place in Paris, it promises to be an engaging few days where 660 exhibitors will showcase across a range of areas, including health & safety, climate & industrial risks, fire safety, and so much more. So, let’s dive in and explore some of the key trends we’re expecting to hear about at Expoprotection 2026.

The interconnectivity of HSEQ

One of the intriguing workshops at Expoprotection that caught our eye in the lead-up to this exhibition was ‘Unified risk management: Why HSEQ/QHSE managers need to rethink their approach’. This session focuses on occupational and industrial risks, specifically asking the question: how can risks be compiled collectively across databases? It’s an important question worth asking because today far too many operations have to deal with disconnected systems and information silos.

The session looks at how HSEQ/QHSE players are expected to stay abreast of risks when information is spread out, buried in information silos, and not documented consistently across departments and levels. The workshop considers how a unified system can help resolve these kinds of headaches and, ultimately, create a more risk-averse and safer environment for all workers. Of course, FlexManager offers smarter compliance solutions in one unified platform, so we are very much to the fore of exactly this type of conversation, which is an important one.

Engagement with AI

Unsurprisingly, Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to dominate many of the headlines and workshops across the compliance industry today, and this year’s edition of Expoprotection promises to be no different. A couple of the conferences and workshops will focus on AI specifically, including these two: Sovereignty & AI: Experiment Before You’re Left Behind and Prevention Specialist 2026: From Swiss Army Knife to Influence Strategist … with AI.
Undoubtedly, there are terrific gains to be had from implementing AI into one’s workflows (together with a number of risks, of course), and the former workshop will touch on this from the perspective of a tool for cybersecurity. One of the main points to be discussed here will be how AI’s “adoption remains hampered by challenges related to acceptance, control, and cooperation among stakeholders” and how collaboration can help navigate this cumbersome obstacle.

The second workshop will focus on how “prevention specialists can transition from a ‘one-man band’ role to that of strategists capable of influencing decisions, anticipating risks, and supporting transformation.” Clearly, the focus has shifted to how AI can become a way to improve how compliance can become more efficient and more readily engaged with by a multitude of stakeholders. And Expoprotection is clearly the place to be from November 3rd to November 5th to discover this, and lots more.

Innovative pitches that showcase unique solutions

All throughout Expoprotection, expect to see a vast array of perspectives and opinions across everything related to risk prevention and management, two areas FlexManager is acutely tuned in to – owing to our array of associated modules which you can discover using our Solution Explorer tool. Because it’s aimed at professional decision-makers, Expoprotection will cover topics like why promotion of safety is better than prevention of risk; discovering innovative solutions on how to navigate occupational and industrial risks; how to control exposure to chemical agents; exploring certified fire safety solutions designed for real-world conditions; and plenty more.

After all, hazard safety, risk prevention, and proactive workarounds to minimise both, work best when they are brought forward in a climate that considers real-world applications and practical obstacles. FlexManager is excited to discover more about the takeaways from Expoprotection in 2026, and we’re looking forward to seeing all the innovations take flight in 2027 and beyond.
