It's Time for a Recap: Chief Fire Officers' Association - 67th Annual Conference
Held in Sligo on 6 and 7 May, the Chief Fire Officers’ Association 67th Annual Conference 2026 brought together fire service leaders, emergency management professionals, and key stakeholders from across Ireland to explore the evolving risks shaping the future of fire and rescue services. As exhibitors at the conference, FlexManager was proud to be part of the event and continue strengthening the long-standing relationships we have built with fire services across Ireland.
This year’s conference focused on the theme “Safeguarding Tomorrow: A Prevention-First Approach to Evolving Risks.” Discussions throughout the event highlighted the growing complexity of modern fire service operations, from emerging technologies and climate-driven hazards to new building methods, emergency preparedness, and battery energy storage safety.
Across the conference, one message was clear: safeguarding tomorrow requires more than reacting to incidents. It requires strong visibility, accurate information, connected systems, and the ability to identify risks before they escalate, and this is where digital transformation plays an important role.
By bringing key operational and compliance processes into one unified platform, FlexManager helps fire services improve visibility, simplify administration, and strengthen accountability across their teams, assets, and activities.
From inspections and training records to asset management, incident reporting, equipment readiness, and audit-ready records, FlexManager supports fire services with smarter compliance solutions designed for real-world operations, helping teams manage critical processes with confidence when every detail matters.
A big thank you to everyone who took the time to visit our team during the event. We are proud to continue supporting the incredible work fire services deliver every day in protecting people, places, and communities across the country.
