Fire and Rescue Service Compliance: Lessons from France’s Wildfires
France's intense 2026 wildfire season highlights the pressure on fire and rescue service compliance. See how digital tools support readiness.
Last Friday (Oct 10th), we attended, exhibited, and sponsored the National Irish Safety Organisation (NISO) annual conference held in the Great Southern in Killarney. This was a significant date on our calendar, as FlexManager CEO, George Curley, held a talk entitled: Real Compliance in a Digital Transformation. This was an opportunity for George to share his perspective as a former Health & Safety Manager who saw the potential of HSEQ through a digital lens.
Speaking on his talk, George had this to say about his talk, and what he hopes are the takeaways for people:
“My take on the topic may be a little bit more controversial than people would have expected, but hopefully in a positive way. My goal was to usher people to ask the right questions on their digital transformation journey so they achieve their objectives and get the value that they want out of their solution.”

After exhibiting on the day, and interacting with connections both familiar and new, we asked our Business Development Executive what was the most exciting part of the day:
“It was a great opportunity for us to showcase everything that we are doing on our platform but also to meet with others in the industry and see where they think HSEQ is going in Ireland in the coming years.”

We would like to thank NISO for organising the event, and for giving FlexManager the opportunity to sponsor. Session 2 was chaired by James Flint of Winthrop Technologies, with Ann Marie Gannon and Michael McEnery from Irish Distillers also speaking on their EU Good Practice Award: B1 Robotics. We would like to congratulate all involved in the running of another successful NISO event!

More photos from the event will be available soon on the NISO website.
