Toronto to host Contractor Productivity Forum on October 1st

PPE laid out by a contractor with a backdrop of a construction site, with the equipment in focus as health and safety of contractors is of critical importance.

On Oct. 1, Canadian Contractor will host a day of discussion and learning at the Toronto Congress Centre in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Ont., aimed at helping home renovation and custom homebuilding contractors get more done with the resources they have.

In these days of higher costs and uncertainties and difficulty finding skilled labour, the word “productivity” has been at the top of every analyst’s page. But too often these conversations address tract building and multi-unit construction, leaving the needs of the smaller builder and renovator unaddressed. The Contractor Productivity Forum promises to deliver options and ideas that you can use without making the kinds of investments only available to big developers.

The Contractor Productivity Forum is being presented in partnership with the Canadian Rental Mart, Canada’s trade event for the equipment rental industry. Your registration gives you access to the nation’s largest showcase of the latest construction technology.

The show floor will open from 10:00 AM, with topics such as Succession Planning, Getting more from your rental store, The uses of AI, and How Offsite construction practices can benefit small custom projects.
