Each checkpoint is confirmed by scanning an NFC or QR tag, with GPS location recorded at the same time, so there’s real evidence a guard was physically there rather than just a timestamp logged from somewhere else.
What happens if a checkpoint is missed or late?
Every patrol is scored for on-time compliance, so a late or missed checkpoint shows up clearly on the patrol’s record rather than being hidden inside an otherwise complete-looking round.
Can a patrol cover a shift that runs past midnight?
Yes. Patrols that run overnight past midnight are supported, so an overnight shift doesn’t need to be split awkwardly across two separate records just because the date changed partway through.
