Work Orders allows you to set due dates based on a job’s priority and category, and alerts you before a job runs overdue, so deadlines are built in rather than tracked separately. Recurring jobs can be scheduled to create themselves on a set cycle, and duplicate jobs raised for the same issue can be merged into a single record, keeping the job list accurate instead of cluttered with repeats.

The module supports interested parties who want to stay in the loop as watchers without owning a job themselves, and teams working across multiple sites who pin jobs to a location on a map to see where work is happening. Sensitive jobs can be hidden from unauthorised staff, and comments can be kept internal or sent directly back to whoever raised the request.

You’re alerted before it runs overdue, based on the due date set for its priority and category, so a deadline being missed doesn’t come as a surprise. If the job is still open when it’s overdue, it stays visible rather than dropping out of view.
Can sensitive jobs be kept private from staff who shouldn't see them?
