Frances Thornton Memorial Galway Bay Swim takes place on July 19th
This Saturday (July 19th), the Frances Thornton Memorial Galway Bay Swim will take place, where swimmers will travel from Aughinish, Co Clare, to Blackrock Tower in Salthill, Co Galway. This journey is approximately 13km long, and could take between 3 and 6.5 hours, a serious feat for any participant.
